Town centre worker permits (also known as validation deals):
Town centre worker permits are available to all employees working within the BN11 postcode area of Worthing, and to guests staying at hotels situated in The Steyne and Steyne Gardens.
These permits allow users to park in the High Street or Grafton multi-storey car parks (MSCPs) for a flat daily charge of £5.00, or in the Buckingham Road MSCP for a flat daily charge of £4.00.
For all employees working within the BN11 postcode area each town centre worker permit will expire after six months. The Council may ask for evidence of employment to support an application. Photocopies of letters and documents are not acceptable.
For guests staying at the hotels in The Steyne or Steyne Gardens, the Council may require evidence of the stay.
Town centre worker permits are not transferable between the three MSCP sites.
Town centre worker permits are not transferable between vehicles.
A town centre worker permit is not a guarantee of a parking space.
In addition to the town centre worker permit charge there will be a 20p charge per transaction.
Permits that have been applied for using false information (i.e. someone who does not work within the BN11 postcode area holds a town centre worker permit) will be cancelled and vehicle access will be blocked, with immediate effect.
Failure to make payments for parking sessions will result in the permit being cancelled and action taken to recover any outstanding monies owed.
Autobill: In addition to the daily parking charge there will be a 20p charge per transaction.

In addition to season ticket prices, the following administration charges also apply:
For season tickets up to the value of £50.00: £2.00 Fixed Fee
For season tickets costing between £51 and £250: £2.00 FF plus 2.5%
For season tickets costing between £251 and £500: £2.00 FF plus 2%
For season tickets costing between £501 and £1000: £2.00 FF plus 1.5%
For season tickets costing £1000 plus: £2.00 FF plus 1%

Season tickets are issued on a first come, first served basis. When one of our MSCPs has reached capacity, a waiting list for permits is introduced. If your preferred car park has reached maximum capacity, you will be offered a permit in an alternative site where possible.
As a season ticket holder, it is your responsibility to renew your season ticket on time. If your season ticket expires without being renewed and a waiting list is in operation, you will need to rejoin the waiting list in order to purchase a new season ticket. There is no grace period on expired season tickets.
Season tickets are non-transferable between sites or vehicles. If you need a season ticket for either a different site or vehicle you will need to apply for a new season ticket, and surrender your original season ticket.
Refunds will be given for surrendered season tickets, but only for the remaining full calendar months.
As season tickets are for a vehicle, rather than a person, you must notify the Council or Parking Services Team of any changes of vehicle ownership immediately.
Season tickets do not guarantee the holder a parking space, although every effort will be made to ensure sufficient capacity exists.
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. The Council accepts no liability for damage or loss to vehicles or their contents.
Season ticket holders must comply with the site's terms and conditions at all times.
